One of my most recently completed works - as you can see still un-matted as of yet. I have calmed down from my run-in with that old lady's mouth/ignorance and stayed the course on my work. I continue to stay true to my work, the details and my subject matter that seems to still change with my moods. When I'm making my cow pictures it's usually my way of escaping my everyday hectic life and imagining myself out there hanging out under the tree, mid-afternoon on a hazy summer day. Other times you find my work to be centered on other machinery, products or feelings. I find the colors are always paramount to my work. Enjoy
thanks for the feedback on this one - it's still un-matted as of yet but I will have to finish it off with something - too much red marker bled at the edges. Not sure why but when I sketched out this concept I used a red marker that bled when I smudged my adhesive over it ...oh well live n' learn.
Thank you...how have you been? I put another new one up on my page - it was actually done prior to my latest cow piece but I forgot about it for a while as it was in an area art show for a bit. I have also completed another swiss army knife piece that I can't seem to get a picture of yet but I'l get it up here soon...it's the same knife as the original version but this time I included the accessories and the background is yellow. As if that wasn't enough work lately, I have also begun work on a self-portrait in magazine paper and working on shopping my artwork around to area businesses to see where I can hang it all for a bit. - Brian
Yeahh ive been good! busy at work but hey thats life! imm off to view your army knife again but i think ive commented it? ooooh! have many people decided to buy your artwork? i would love to have it!
I have a lot of interest in my work but I have been busy lately creating new pieces and just absorbing the comments and the interest and not really focusing on selling any of it but that will soon change.
What kind of adhesive do you use? I'm starting to play around more with collage and would appreciate any input into materials that work well. Thanks!
i love how you've created the rays of sun! colours are lovely
